This beauty spot is situated past the fishing harbour of Latsi towards the tip of the Akamas peninsula. A natural pool grotto surrounded in greenery, the site lies at the end of a small nature trail. As its name suggests, the grotto is said to be where the Goddess of Love used to bathe. The myth also tells that this is where Aphrodite met her lover, the handsome Adonis, when he stopped off for a drink while hunting.

Yeronisos (Geronisos), or as it is often called " Sacred Island ", is 12,000 square meters of rocks, rising dramatically from the swelling sea waters just 280 meters from the harbor at St. George, off the Cyprus shore. Excavations show that Yeronisos had an active Chalcolithic phase (3100 B.C.) and flourished under the ruling of the famous Egyptian Queen Cleopatra (50-30 B.C.).

The Millomeri Fall is also located at Platres, and it is famous for its natural beauty. Its waters fall from a height of 15 meters. The falls have become known only during recent years because the location is hard to access.
