Adonis Baths, with its two level waterfall, is a beautiful little paradise which is really worth visiting. This is where Adonis the lover of Aphrodite used to bathe, according to Greek mythology. Here you will have the opportunity of swimming and swing from a rope into the refreshing mountain waters. ABonis baths can be found about 1km from Coral Bay area.

This beauty spot is situated past the fishing harbour of Latsi towards the tip of the Akamas peninsula. A natural pool grotto surrounded in greenery, the site lies at the end of a small nature trail. As its name suggests, the grotto is said to be where the Goddess of Love used to bathe. The myth also tells that this is where Aphrodite met her lover, the handsome Adonis, when he stopped off for a drink while hunting.

These spectacular sea caves are located close to Cape Greko, about 4 km from Ayia Napa town.  Nature lovers and those who are looking for some  extra thrills  will definately love this place.  One of the many ways to explore the sea caves is diving, snorkeling and taking a boat trip. This place also offers some amazing views at both sunrise and sunset. If you have enough guts - leap from the clif into the sea! Pure excitement guaranteed!

Yeronisos (Geronisos), or as it is often called " Sacred Island ", is 12,000 square meters of rocks, rising dramatically from the swelling sea waters just 280 meters from the harbor at St. George, off the Cyprus shore. Excavations show that Yeronisos had an active Chalcolithic phase (3100 B.C.) and flourished under the ruling of the famous Egyptian Queen Cleopatra (50-30 B.C.).

Cedar Valley in Tilliryan Troodos is a must for nature lovers.The cedars in this secluded valley are indigenous Cyprus cedars, close relatives of the famous cedars of Lebanon. There are thousands of them in Cedar Valley. It's not the easiest of places to find, but you are guaranteed peace and quiet once you get there. And if you are really lucky you can see the moufflon, a species of wild sheep native to Cyprus, and the national symbol.

The Caledonia Falls are found just a bit outside of Platres village, in Troodos. It is is one of the highest falls existing in Cyprus. The water falls vertically from a height of 12 meters. It can be accessed from a path that leads to it.

The Millomeri Fall is also located at Platres, and it is famous for its natural beauty. Its waters fall from a height of 15 meters. The falls have become known only during recent years because the location is hard to access.

Lara Bay (or Turtle Beach) is famous for its nestling turtles in August – September. Two endangered turtle species are still found here - green turtle and hawks-bill turtle. It is a big sandy beach.

For most of the visitors it will be a thrilling experience to climb this gigantic rock to the top, where one can enjoy the magnificent views or even watch a spectacular sunset or sunrise. The place is located between Protaras and Agia Napa near the coast. It is also a perfect place for diving and snorkeling.
 

An impressive mountain range stretching across the centre of Cyprus, the highest point reaches up to 1.953 metres on Mount Olympos. Admiring panoramic views and breathing the cool, pine-scented air makes a heady change from the coasts and plains a short distance away. With scenic walks, numerous Byzantine churches to see, charming mountain villages and special picnic sites, the Troodos range offers more than one might expect.

Avakas Gorge is one of the few accessible and most amazing gorges in Cyprus. This gorge, formed over millions of years due to the action of the flowing river, is at the start of the Akamas area and is easily accessible even with a regular car. It is a magnificent place to visit, especially in the earlier or the later part of the day, when the light is magical, inside the gorge.

This interesting geological formation of huge rocks off the coast in the Paphos district forms one of the most impressive natural sites of Cyprus associated with the birth of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty.

The Akamas Peninsula is an area of outstanding natural beauty - deep gorges, a wild landscape, and wide sandy bays. It is also an area of great biodiversity and ecological significance. Home to 530 plant species, a third of the total for Cyprus, 126 of which are endemic to Cyprus. An unspoilt wild place thanks to its inaccessibility and natural preserve existing there.
