LOEL was founded in 1943 and is one of the biggest wineries in Cyprus producing premium wines utilizing only mountain grown grapes from Paphos and Limassol district. LOEL exports its products to Russia, England, Estonia, Greece, Singapore, Canada, Zambia, Malta and other countries. The main LOEL winery is located in Limassol, the other two smaller wineries are located in the mountain region of Cyprus: one of them at Polemi, Paphos and the other at Lania, Limassol famous for the production of Commandaria liqueur wine.
